How Does a Classic Video Work?

TL:DR — Send friends and family a link to your online invitation. They respond by video. Everyone’s responses are later merged into a single video to share with your loved one on their special day.
Ideal for celebrating birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, retirements and other occasions with friends and family who can’t be with you.

Here’s how it works

  1. We walk you through creating a great-looking digital invitation. Takes about 2-3 minutes.
    1. Create your invitation page
    2. Use our default text or change it to suit your preferences
    3. Record a video request (optional) as part of your invitation. This makes it feel extra personal and significantly reduces your need to constantly remind people
    4. Add a picture or use our stock photo
    5. Select one or more ideas from our library to give your friends ideas to talk about
      • Choose ideas from the template or add your own
    6. Send your friends and family the link to your digital invitation via email, text or any way you normally connect
      • If you wish, you can also ask friends to forward your link to other people they feel would like to contribute
  2. Your friends and family respond
    1. They simply tap to record a message on any device. No need to download an app or create an account.
    2. Videos are safely uploaded in full quality to your timeline, ready and waiting for you to view
  3. Preview the video
    1. Drag and drop or delete clips as you wish.
    2. Optionally add some extra creative touches, like text, GIFs, stickers, pictures, and music, using our easy-to-use tools
  4. Once you’re happy with the preview, press a button to process the video and get an HD, sharable version
    1. On their special day, send the link to your loved one or play it live
    2. Optionally send the link to your friends who asked to receive it. We keep a list for you on your share page.

Enjoy it forever!
