How does a Video Guestbook work?

TL:DR — Guests scan your QR code on their phone. That opens your personal Video Guestbook page. They record and upload a message with just the tap of a button — no need to download an app or create an account. You later merge all the videos and pictures into a single movie, with credits.

How it works

1. You immediately get a personalized event web page and a QR code linking to it.
2. Use our professional designs to create a personalized QR poster, add your QR code to anything else you're printing or both.
3. Place your postcard-sized signage on seats, tables and/or other high traffic areas. Optionally create large posters for high traffic areas
4. Your guests scan your QR code and tap Record. No need for an account. No need to download an app. Their videos and pictures are quickly uploaded in full quality to your account where they remain safe and sound, waiting for you to enjoy.
5. Whenever you wish, view their messages and pix. Then merge everything into a single video simply by pressing a button. If you wish, you can also drag and drop the clips to rearrange, add more videos and pictures and add other creative touches with our easy-to-use Editing Suite.
6. Then sit back and get the popcorn. You can also share the merged video link with anyone you choose.

• They can also upload recordings from their phones, in case they recorded without using your guestbook

• you can send the link to guests who might have forgotten to record a message, giving them a chance to do it the next day while they still have that special glow!
• you can also upload more pictures and video that you might have separately received from guests
• drag and drop (or remove) clips on your timeline to create the video
• Optionally add some extra creative touches, like text, GIFs, stickers, pictures, music, using our easy-to-use tools

• When the video’s ready, you can leave it online — we continue to host it for a year — or download it to your hard drive. Or both.
